Volunteering at Houston Food Bank
The Houston Food Bank distributes food and other essentials to those that lack consistent access to enough nutritious food to fuel a healthy life. Most of the projects at the warehouse involve inspection, sorting, and repackaging of donated food items for community distribution. Join us in providing food to those in need!

Project Saving Smiles (PSS) is a Sealant Program for 2nd graders in schools where 50% of the students are on Free and/or Reduced Lunch program, for Houston-ISD and other Houston-area ISDs. Project Saving Smiles reduces the prevalence of tooth decay in underserved children and remove barriers to learning.

Project Saving Smiles

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: on these dates volunteers are requested to be NO LATER THAN 7:30am! The typical shift would last from 7:30am to 2pm! Additionally, lunch and snacks will be provided during this volunteering event. This is to see how many people will be CONFIRMED be able to do this date so we can organize with the Project Saving Smiles director!
